Ston. At the point where the Pelješac peninsula joins mainland Croatia, they built this defensive wall.
Pretty impressive feat of engineering. Most of it is still standing and they are working on
restoring other parts of it. It was ugly hot that day, though, and no shade on it, so most of us chose to
just look at it from the shade of the narrow streets.
