Nafplio_Palamidi_fortress. After Mystras, we headed to Nafplio for a couple of nights.
Nafplio was once a Venetian stronghold in the area and the magnificent hilltop
fortress was built in the early 1700s. Nafplio was also the first capital
of Greece after independence.
